Islington Tribune – Hotel plan for ‘ugly’ car park in Clerkenwell is rejected

The controversial proposals for a hotel to replace the NCP Car Park in our Neighbourhood Area were thrown out this week by Islington Councillors, who cited a lack of homes and workspaces – long-held concerns of the community in our area. The Mount Pleasant Association’s Meg Howarth made a personal deputation objecting to the proposal, supported by local residents.
