The Guardian – Royal Mail may reap £662m from planned sale of London sorting offic

The Guardian has published news of RMG’s Battersea/Nine Elms former sorting office site being valued at £662m. When added to Paddington (£111m) and Rathbone Place (£120m) and Mount Pleasant (which the articles cites could be worth £1bn), this former public utility has made quite a windfall from its empty land, the total extent of which was estimated in the region of £300m at privatisation.
