As Vince Cable faces another public grilling this afternoon over the sale of the Royal Mail, the Bureau of Investigative Journalism has published a list of the City institutions given privileged status in receiving shares when the Royal Mail was privatised:

The Royal Mail is increasingly becoming a thorn in the side of the Business Secretary and the coalition more broadly.The unsavoury stories, which include the Royal Mail’s grossly undervalued property assets such as Mount Pleasant, just don’t seem to want to go away.
