‘Why I had to turn down £27,000 offer’ – by MPF member, David Lonsdale

Here is David Lonsdale’s letter published in the Islington Tribune explaining why he turned down the Royal Mail’s offer of nearly £27,000 to release his Right to Light and surrender his democratic right to object to the planning application.

Thank you David for your courage and honesty in revealing the RMG’s unpleasant tactics that attempt to conceal not only the large shadow their proposal would cast over your property, but also the wider ‘public realm’ which we all enjoy. A well designed scheme would surely not demand such an insidious strategy.
